Admissions

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year.

Applications DO NOT roll over from year to year; so please fill out an application for each school year.  There is no application fee. We will let current families know when our summer camp applications open (usually in January/February).

We would love to meet you and talk about Montessori, Wildflower and Azalea!  Please email us at info@azaleamontessori.org if you have any questions.

Parent Information Session and Tour

We will host tours on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 6:00 pm and on Sunday, November 9, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Our entrance is located off Lincoln Avenue. The information session/tour is for adults only.

Meeting the Teacher Leaders and visiting Azalea is an important step in our enrollment process. We feel it is important to connect the family, child, teachers, and environment to create an intentional and meaningful community.

Application Process

1. Attend an information session/tour (dates listed above) or reach out to us at info@azaleamontessori.org for information.

2. Please fill out an application. Please click here for our online application. Please contact an Azalea Teacher Leader to request a paper copy.

3. After you attend a tour, Teacher Leaders will communicate with you next steps in the enrollment process. A $100 enrollment fee is required upon receipt of all enrollment materials.

Most of our summer camp spots are reserved for current or incoming Azalea students.

Affording Azalea Montessori

At Azalea Montessori School we believe educational opportunities should be available to families in our community regardless of financial means. Our goal is to create sustainable pathways that provide at least 30 percent or more of our school population with tuition assistance based on financial need.

We participate in the Publicly Funded Child Care program offered through Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. Information about the program and eligibility requirements can be found here: ODJFS Child Care information.

We are a provider of the Ed Choice Scholarships from the Ohio Department of Education. More information on the program and eligibility requirements can be found here: Ed Choice Scholarship Eligibility

Tuition Rates

Our 2025-2026 primary preschool full day tuition rate is $9,000 which is consistent with other private Montessori schools in the area.

Our kindergarten full day rate is $11,166.00. However, that is not what you can expect your out of pocket expense to be. Many of our families utilize the EdChoice Scholarship. The award amounts will vary depending on family income, and you can expect your balance after EdChoice to be between $5,000 and $8,384.00 annually. Families who opt not to use the EdChoice program will have their tuition capped at $9,000.

We have a small number of part-time spots available both in the Montessori classroom and in Azalea Grows, our Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings-only (8:30 am to 11:30 am) outdoor program.

The cost of 5 half days (8:30 am to 12:00 pm) is $5,986.80 annually.

The Azalea Grows rate is $3,614.22 annually.

After care is offered from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tuition is $8 per hour of use.

The tuition rate for Azalea is intended to be an “all inclusive” rate and we do not add required extra fees or additional donations on top of the tuition rate. Financial transparency is important to us, so please know that whatever the tuition rate, it will be the true cost of educating your child.
